Introducing the 2026 Surron Ultra Bee HP ADR: The Road-Legal Powerhouse Has Arrived

The Surron Ultra Bee already rewrote the rulebook for what a light e-moto could do. Now Surron has turned everything up to eleven. Say hello to the 2026 Surron Ultra Bee HP ADR — a higher-powered, fully road-legal evolution of the bike that took the off-road world by storm. More power, more tech, and a green ADR plate that lets you ride it from your driveway to the trailhead. Here at RidePanther, we think it's the most complete Ultra Bee yet, and here's why.

What does "HP ADR" actually mean?

Two things, and both are a big deal. HP stands for High Power — this version makes a substantial leap in performance over the standard Ultra Bee. ADR means the bike is built to comply with the Australian Design Rules, so it can be registered and ridden legally on the road (subject to your state's registration process). In short: a genuine electric dirt bike you can also commute on, ride to the shops, and link up trails with — no trailer required.

Performance: seriously quick, seriously torquey

The headline figures speak for themselves:

  • Maximum power: 24.5 kW
  • Maximum torque: 520 N·m (at the wheel)
  • Top speed: 95 km/h
  • 0–50 km/h: 1.84 seconds
  • 0–80 km/h: 3.7 seconds

That 1.84-second sprint to 50 km/h is properly rapid — the kind of instant, electric shove that leaves petrol bikes of similar size scratching their heads. With 520 N·m on tap the moment you touch the throttle, technical climbs, steep launches and quick overtakes all become effortless. And with a 95 km/h top speed, the HP has the legs for open fire trails and road sections alike.

Battery and charging: more energy, smarter top-ups

Powering all of this is a 74V 60Ah battery, giving the Ultra Bee HP the energy reserves to match its performance. Just as important is the upgraded smart charging port — a new-generation design that supports higher-current charging for faster top-ups, adds multiple safety checks to protect the pack, and is built with high expandability for the future. Less time on charge, more time riding.

SWC: Surron Wheelie Control System

This is one of the most exciting additions. The Surron Wheelie Control (SWC) system is an intelligent control system that uses an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) to sense the motorcycle's status and manage its pitch angle — helping riders practise and hold wheelies more safely. It comes with two adjustable modes so you can build confidence at your own pace. Whether you're learning the basics or refining your balance point, SWC turns the Ultra Bee HP into a genuine wheelie master.

A quick safety note from us: SWC is a training and control aid, not a stunt guarantee. Surron specifies it should not be activated during off-road jumps, and you should only practise within your ability, in a safe area, with full protective gear.

Connected riding: CAN communication and OTA updates

The 2026 model steps firmly into the smart era. Equipped with a new T-box module and CAN communication, the Ultra Bee HP connects seamlessly to your mobile app — enabling remote control, real-time information and over-the-air (OTA) updates. That means your bike can receive new features and improvements over time, and you stay closer to how your bike is performing on every ride.

Every bike ships with the Ultra Dedicated Torque Tool Kit

A great touch: the Ultra Bee HP comes with a dedicated OEM Torque Tool Kit. Engineered specifically for the Ultra, it ensures every adjustment is dialled in with factory-level accuracy. It's a genuine OEM kit with precision fitment for all your routine maintenance needs, premium-quality tools including a proper torque wrench and bit set, and compact, integrated storage in a custom case. It's exactly the kind of thoughtful, ride-ready detail that sets the HP apart.

Who is the Ultra Bee HP ADR for?

This one covers a lot of ground. It's for the off-road rider who wants serious power and the latest tech without stepping up to a heavier full-size machine. It's for the commuter who wants a road-legal, registerable electric bike that's an absolute weapon once the tarmac ends. And it's for anyone who loved the original Ultra Bee but wanted more — more power, more range confidence, more connectivity and the freedom of a road-legal plate.
