Easily one of our favourite street focussed builds so far.
The sharp and confident handling of this bike was next level, the shinko SR898 tyres are perfectly sticky and fit comfortably on the 17" supermoto rims, keeping the bike planted and still offering an aggressive lean angle. We used 80 /90 17 fronts and 100 /90 17 rear tyres on the OEM Light Bee Supermoto rims.
Installation of an experimental set of RFloXa front and rear suspension went swimmingly, we used the RVP Pro front forks (60lbs) and 53RV rear shock (550lbs) which felt like a vast upgrade over some previous Fastace forks and especially the stock suspension.
The deeply metallic 'Metropolis Silver" powder coat came out beautifully, a seemingly understated colour until it comes into the light, revealing a fantastic pearlescent sheen of subtly blended greys and sparkly whites.
In terms of power upgrades, this bike was treated to an EBMX X-9000 controller and 60V 53AH battery, geared with a 42T sprocket and upgraded Gates belt. With this setup we were comfortably tuning the bike to 14.5KW without having overheating issues with the stock motor. Top speed was estimated at 90-100KM/H.
